At Teamwork Partnership, our philosophy doesn’t stop at the office door. We’re highly dedicated to our charity work and believe it’s really important to give back and reinvest some of our success to help others - those who haven’t yet been as fortunate as us. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our local community and help make it better for everyone.
Teamwork Partnership welcomes Lamp as its charity of the year with a corporate football match
Teamwork Partnership, a leading recruitment firm based in Leicester that specialises in the food, logistics, warehouse and manufacturing sectors, has selected Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project (Lamp) as its charity of the year.
Teamwork Partnership will collaborate with Lamp to raise awareness of the charity’s mental health advocacy services, while the firm’s staff will attend Lamp’s first aid mental health training, join the charity’s Business Club and support it through fundraising.
To celebrate the new relationship, Teamwork Partnership is organising a corporate charity six-a-side football tournament to raise money for Lamp, which will be held at Leicester’s St Andrews Football Club on 5 August 2022. Teamwork Partnership currently has 11 teams participating in the match and is looking for more corporate teams to join.
On the day of the game, 50 per cent of the takings will be donated to Lamp while the remaining 50 per cent will go to the St Andrews Juniors team.
Dan Brown, Teamwork Partnership’s Managing Director said:
“We were keen to give back to our community and support a local charity and so we are delighted to name Lamp as our charity of the year. We have been impressed with the way that Lamp has helped companies have all-important conversations about mental health and work, along with the vital role it plays in supporting families and individuals as they seek mental health support. We look forward to working with them to raise awareness of its mental health advocacy services and drawing on its expertise to ensure that our staff will benefit from workplace wellbeing initiatives.”
Richard Kotulecki, Lamp’s CEO added:
“We are delighted that Teamwork Partnership has selected Lamp as its charity of the year. Their donations and fundraising efforts are vital to Lamp and we look forward to working with them to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. The football tournament will be a great way to kick off our new partnership, plus it will provide an excellent teamworking and networking opportunity.”
